“Norwegian” herring salad is able to conquer any hostess with impeccable taste and simplicity of cooking.
It is based on a classic duet of salted herring and boiled potatoes.
The zest of the salad “Norwegian” – pieces of juicy and crispy apple and spicy dressing.
Be sure, the flavor combination of all incoming ingredients is just perfect.
- Salty herring fillet – 180 g;
- Green apple – 200 g;
- Boiled eggs – 2 pcs;
- Red onion – 0.5 pc;
- 2 potatoes cooked in the peel;
- Lemon (small) – 1 piece;
- Greens (dill, green onion) – small bun;
- Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp.;
- Mustard – 1 tsp;
- Salt, pepper.
Shred red onions the thinnest semi-rings.
Remove the skin from the boiled potatoes and cut into a medium cube. Don’t flicker too much.
Similarly, chop hard-boiled eggs.
To make the salad look organic, cut the herring into the same cube.
Remove the peel from the apple and quickly grind. The shape of the slicing and the size is the same. And immediately generously sprinkle the apple pieces with lemon juice. This will allow them to keep a light look and not darken.
Finely shred the greens with a sharp knife.
Collect all ingredients in a deep salad bowl. Carefully mix.
